Compass, Once Upon a Time
This large-scale functioning compass was made to make an actress appear four inches tall. The challenge was also to make it light enough for her to carry.
Optical Illusion
Using a combination of metal, printed materials, laser-cut pieces and glass, we were able to create the apparatus. The working compass dwarfed the actress and achieved the desired effect.
